Today, notices on residents doors around 3pm for smoke detector inspections tomorrow morning. These inspections are scheduled and we normally have 2-3 week notice. What is wrong with the new staff? Don't move here, it's a constant cycling of office staff, no one want to work at this place let alone live here.

My review is based entirely on communication. I have called, emailed, and tried to contact the leasing office about renting an apartment this spring. I haven’t heard back from anyone; therefore, I am taking this as a sign that the customer service is less than stellar.

Please don’t rent here. And please. Read all this review. There is so much wrong about this apartment complex. I’ve tried working with leasing staff, regional managers, and AMC corporate. This is the worst place to live. -the doors are NOT secure. They will make you pay for a fob and sell you on security but the doors are all broken and not fixed no matter how many times we complain. -random people live in the building. I’ve called the police many times because there are non residents living in the common areas of our apartment who are NOT friendly or safe. They have threatened residents and nothing happens. -the apartment is not ADA compliant. The elevators are constantly broke. Just this morning I had to call the fire department because a 97 year old women was trapped in the lobby and could not take the stairs. When I called emergency maintenance (first) they actually yelled at me for reporting it and told me they “can’t just snap their fingers and make it work”. I told them about the residents waiting in the cold and they couldn’t care less. After talking to the residents this morning I can to found out this happens all the time and this same resident has been trapped for up to three hours multiple times a week. -the apartment is not maintained. I can give you examples of finding dog and human poop in stairwells/common areas/walkways etc., for days. We pay close to $30 / month for valet trash (with no way to opt out) and the trash is constantly not being picked up and trash shoots are overflowing with garbage - which makes the entire community smell. I’ve submitted many maintenance requests for my building that are not completed but marked as so. I’ve attached a few pictures but that isn’t even the half of it. I would be happy to share my experiences with anyone who is looking at renting here. I have so many photos and emails and recorded attempts to make this better.

Perhaps this will get management’s attention. I have had an issue for two weeks now. I fully understand that this is probably not a big deal to most. However, they increased rent by $200/month on my last lease agreement, so I feel as though they should probably respond in kind. You cannot charge luxury prices while continuing to behave like a slumlord. And if you are thinking about renting here, I would certainly advise against it.

PLEASE READ IF CONSIDERING THESE APARTMENTS!!! Fire alarms go off CONSTANTLY at any given hour. The fire department is right across the street and it will still take a minimum of 45 minutes for them to be turned off. Staff is rude and changes policy regularly (or are so uniformed on policy your answer changes from one person to the next.) They are grubby and will charge you for every tiny little thing they can, even if they arent providing the service you were charged for. Ie., we were told there was a security guard on staff at night. That is a lie. There is a guard who shows up TWO TIMES ANNUALLY to check the doors. That is it. Also all of Covid, the community spaces within the apartment complex were closed, but we were still charged for use and maintenance of these spaces. Hallways are regularly filled with animal waste. The apartment hallways are RARELY cleaned, and when they are the people who clean them are lazy and do a terrible job. Pipes burst regularly in the basement parking (so I hope your car doesn’t get flooded) this is often the cause of the alarms. The dog run is ATROCIOUS there are literally year round POOLS of pee and water along the walkway you HAVE to take to let your dogs out. Lived there for 2 years and leaving was one of the best days of my life. There are multiple other complexes within walking distance. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Only saving grace is the kind and helpful maintenance. Oh and also, plan to leave a SPARKLING apartment upon you leaving or they will charge you for every speck of dirt they can find. And if you do not IMMEDIATELY pay them, (I mean the day they try to call you to tell you they still want more money) they will threaten to take it to collections. We were even charged monthly for their property taxes!! I’d honestly leave no stars if I could.

The Manager was awesome, she assisted with the garage space for us, she has communicated with the Postal Carrier that we are unable to get into our mailbox. The one thing I would recommend is that a dolli would be available to support moving boxes from the parking garage to the apartment. Otherwise, the move worked great.
